guide Shane was excellent. He was very clear about every aspect of safety and how to best canoe on the lake and he gave great commentary about the area and the bush walk. The scenery and view of the glacier from the lake was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.
Hello Dionne! Thanks for the great review! We are so glad to hear you had such a fantastic trip with Shane on the Kayak and Walk Tour. Lake Mapourika is pretty stunning and the views are amazing out there! Thanks Emma
Had Dylan and Kyle take me and 5 others out on the lake and for a nature walk. The instruction was excellent and Dylan and Kyle really knew their stuff.. I’d recommend.

Kylan was a great guide. Our autumn trip was a still clear day, the herons were happy for us to cruise up to them. Kylan was enthusiastic about the trapping and kiwi conservation work he has been doing, sharing the experience with us on the bush walk. Thanks it was a magical day we both really enjoyed.
It was a fantastic trip. Guide, was amazing, she was very helpful getting us sorted with our kayaks and life jackets at start of trip. She was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Scenery was gorgeous and the guide pointed out all things of interest. The walk part of the trip was just stunning, through the bush. Thank you for an amazing trip. Would highly recommend it to everyone.

Fabulous experience!
We spent the afternoon with Jake. He was fantastic, so knowledgeable! We had a lovely kayak through still waters and made our way to the rainforest walk. This was so beautiful and also awesome to know that some of our fee was going toward helping the little kiwi in the parts we were walking around. Definitely recommend this experience!
