Hyeonseo said... I have always enjoyed dining at Mythai, but unfortunately, my experience last night was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of one staff member.
We started with appetizers, and the staff member who took our order and served us was incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel welcome. However, the service took a negative turn when our main courses arrived.
After our appetizers were cleared, another staff member approached our table with our mains. Without saying a word, she simply dumped the plates onto the table with no care, no smile, and no acknowledgment. She then walked away without providing any cutlery, leaving us unable to eat our meal.
I waited for a few minutes, assuming someone would bring it, but no one did. I tried making eye contact with staff members, but the one who had served our mains deliberately avoided looking in our direction. When she finally noticed me and saw that I was gesturing for cutlery, she gave me an annoyed look, as if I was inconveniencing her. Without a word, she brought two plates, still without cutlery, and placed them down with an attitude that felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Another staff member eventually noticed and brought the cutlery.
Her behavior was unprofessional and left a negative impression, which is disappointing as Mythai has always been one of my favorite places to dine. I strongly believe that additional customer service training is necessary to ensure that all guests receive the warm and attentive service that Mythai is known for.
