We had a fabulous day out exploring the wineries. The driver was knowledgeable, friendly and managed to keep track of all of his passengers whereabouts. He even added an extra quick stop to the chocolate shop at the end prior to going home so we could see one more winery. Loved all the wineries we chose to visit but highly recommend Wither Hills as it was such an amazing venue with amazing service and the best food! I will be dreaming about the Hapuku wings we had there for the rest of my life.
Excellent displays of air craft used in world 1 and 2. We spent almost 4 hours reading the history and enjoying the displays. Wonderful setting too as the hangars are modern and beautifully lit. It was worth our trip to Blenheim to see.
This is a must see if you visit Blenheim. The diorama displays and effects are amazing. The museums are so jam packed full of history. We took 4.5 hrs to get through both WW1 and WW2 museums and even then did not see everything. Very enjoyable thing to do.
An absolute must see event in Blenheim. Fantastic exhibits and memorabilia. Allies and foes from WWI and WWII treated with great respect. So much to take in I will have to go again. Do not miss wonderful museum.
We went to the exhibition 12 years ago and decided to have another look . It is a great display for all ages. Very informative panels. The guides were interactive and had amazing knowledge. Thank you for sharing .
Wonderful displays of WW1 @ WW2 planes with plenty of interesting facta and stories to view. Staff were also on hand to answer questions. Fantastic place well worth visiting!
It was an informative experience especially for those who wants to know more about WW1 and WW2.Good value for money and you will come out witty.
It was mind blowing. The scenes and people were so real. I got lost in reading their stories. 10/10
Fantastic aviation centre and NZ is so lucky have this. We have visited a lot of war and aviation museums worldwide and this rates up there as one of the best. The recreation of famous scenes and the artefacts of famous pilots such as The Red Baron make it extra special. A must see for aviation enthusiasts or anyone interested in history.
Absolutely top! This museum is the best i have ever seen regarding aviation. I definitely recommend it. 👍
Absolutely loved this! Such amazing detail in each exhibition and stories! Would highly recommend for any enthusiast
Accommodating staff
It was a great experience.
We had a great trip out to the Island with friendly and experienced staff. We saw some beautiful birds and were lucky enough to see three Hector’s dolphins on the way back. Very enjoyable afternoon.
This was one of the best things I have done. We had two young children and the staff and guides went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. They were knowledgeable on all the wildlife and local area, the views and scenery aren’t found anywhere else and the wildlife was everywhere. If you ever have a chance to do this cruise it would be too good to miss.
Our group of seven, old, young and inbetween all loved our trip out into the sounds. We saw penguins, seals and dolphins and the guide and captain went out of their way to ensure we got the best experience. They were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Simply a MUST DO if you are in the area.
Guide was sooo kind and scenary was really beautiful. Island was soooo nice a way to go there also really great trip.
Nice Dolphins and Birds!
It was a perfect way to explore Marlborough region and the wineries. The driver was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend hop on hop off wine tours for the options of stops they had. We hopped off several stops and had an amazing mix of experiences from Aviation museum, beautiful art gallery to delightful meal and wine tasting in 3 different wineries. Would definitely explore Nelson and Queenstown next time with them.
The discount we got on bookme made this outstanding value. Driver was really engaging, good conversation throughout the journey. Very knowledgeable. Bus is comfortable and there is plenty of space. All in a really good way to see the area and would definately recommend. You get about 40/45 minutes at each if you plan to get the next bus, which is long enough, or double up if you want to relax a bit. We stopped at Framington, which was excellent and a really nice space. The Vines Village, great stop for a coffee and the cheesecake was one of the highlights of the day! Moa brewing; decent beer, we had planned on eating but the food truck doesnt take non NZ card. Food looked and smelled really good though, but heads up - take cash if you want to eat here. Not an official stop but we went to Cloudy Bay which is amazing, across the road from the Allan Scott stop. Finished at Saint Clair, again really nice place, really good. All in highly recommended.
We booked the half day tour from picton. We started at 12.00 and we're first brought to Blenheim to start the tour. The driver Gary was really friendly and explained us a lot about the different stops. We received a booklet with the bus timetables and stops. Basically you get around 40 min. Per stop. That does mean you will have to select a few places to go as you can't do them all. We stopped at Witherhills (wine tasting for 5 /10 dollar), Fromm (tasting 10/15 dollar), Cork and Keg (we expected a free tasting here but that was no longer the case, dissapointing. But nice beers anyway) and our final stop was Framingham! Tasting 5 dollar (reimbursed upon purchase of a bottle). I would recommend to do some research on where you want to stop upfront as you will have to decide without much time and info about prices etc. Overall we had a great day!
A fabulous opportunity to visit and try the many fine wines of Marlborough in celebration of our girlfriends birthday, not to mention a hearty luncheon at Cork and Keg with having saved the best for last, Makana Chocolate Factory :D all the way from Pick Up at Picton all the way to Blenhiem return, our driver was awesome and totally patient with us ( my apologies I was overwhelmed with the great opportunity of someone driving us around such a beautiful country side I forgot to get his name :( ) Thank you again for the fabulous service, we will most definitely be doing this again :D
