This 30-minute scenic flight will provide a bird's eye view of one of the most incredible landscapes in the world.
Only in the West Coast of New Zealand can glaciers be found in such a dramatic setting. An awe-inspiring place where the mountains meet the Tasman Sea and where rainforests make way to Glaciers.
You'll experience breathtaking views from the moment we are airborne from the comfort of our aircraft with large viewing windows. Capture mesmerising views of the glacier as it winds slowly down the carved valleys from its origin in the mountains high above you.
We will then land at the head of either the Franz Josef Glacier or Fox Glacier so you can capture the perfect selfie, play in the snow or simply soak up the incredible alpine atmosphere. A truly unforgettable adventure in an untouched alpine wonderland!

Great experience 👍
Glad bought the experience on Bookme as great experience of course taking a helicopter but unfortunately didn't see the glaciers much as we were both seaten on the right side of the plane.. if you do the experience maybe ask to seat at the front or on the left side to see it all. 10min landing very nice and pilot very knowledgeable and nice.

So worth it!
to have this opportunity to see such an iconic land mark, is one that will remain with me for the rest of my life! Was an absolute blast, would have loved to have had front seat views but still managed to get great footage and awesome views from the middle seats at the back of the helicopter. Landing on the snow and taking in the vista was simply amazing. So pleased to have done this.

Amazing Experience
The twin glaciers trip was superb from checking in to flying to the top of the Franz Josef Glacier. The pilot was great giving commentary during the flight and info when on the snow. This is something you should do when in Franz Josef.
