Kayak in solitude and then experience a New Zealand Native bush walk!
Embark on a 4 hour kayak and bushwalking adventure in one of the most scenic locations in the world, sampling the sound of nature!
Get out and stretch your legs in the Okarito Kiwi Sanctuary, paddle across the lake, taking in our amazing views of the Southern Alps and glaciers before hopping out in Westland's oldest untouched rain-forest on the far side!
The rainforest trail is reminiscent of the Jurassic period and has been sitting in the same state for 14,000 years - it's also home to the RAREST kiwi bird on the planet. Listen to native birdsong and enjoy one of the most scenic lunch spots the Westland National park has to offer.

The guide, Sydney, was super nice and chatty! We had a great time kayaking and enjoyed the walk in the bush with very interesting information about kiwis, plants, etc. Thanks!!
Great experience, Oli our guide was fun and knowledgable about the area. The kayaking was safe and a decent work out and we really enjoyed the walk and being able to sit on the lake with a hot drink. The free photos were an added bonus! Definitely recommend
guide Shane was excellent. He was very clear about every aspect of safety and how to best canoe on the lake and he gave great commentary about the area and the bush walk. The scenery and view of the glacier from the lake was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.

We where a small group of 7. Max was our guide. He told us lots of interesting facts about kajaking and the birds and plants on the little island walk. Thanks again Max. Cheers, Jacqueline Evers - Sailing Loveworkx around the world with love
