See for yourself the actual Hobbiton Movie Set where Peter Jackson filmed his famous Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies.
Your journey begins when we conveniently pick you up from a central Auckland location of your choice and board our modern and comfortable vehicles. Relax as you enjoy a two-hour scenic drive into the rolling farmlands of the Waikato. We will also make a few stops along the way so you can take some photos of the amazing landscapes.
Upon arrival at the world-famous movie set, you’ll be able to spend some time in the official Hobbiton Gift Shop and enjoy a drink and bite to eat at the unique Shire’s Rest Café. Next up is an intriguing two-hour fully guided tour through acres of beautiful farmland with incredible views of the Kaimai Ranges.
We will then journey onto the 12-acre movie site and see the Hobbit Holes, The Mill, and The Double Arched Bridge before enjoying a complimentary drink in The Green Dragon Inn. After the tour, we will board the van where you can reflect upon your exceptional day on the scenic drive back to Auckland.

Hobbiton movie tour
The tour was great, our driver Jason was lovely and gave us a perfect ride to the movie set and back. I loved the movie set tour as well. The information along the way and a few stops were nice too. Also the communication before the trip was fantastic. I would highly recommend doing this tour :)

Steal my money
I booked this trip for part of my vacation from USA to Newzealand. Day before They changed the returning time from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. I was not comfortable with this new timing because I have commitment to the other event in the evening. Representative agree to cancel my trip and refund my money. After so many calls and e-mail communication they denied to pay my refund. I suggest stay away from company like this one.
