Incredible and patient service from Captain Simon led to a delightful morning for myself and my two sons. We went to a cove with no other boats for miles around and caught quite a few large fish. He was very patient with our boys and they had a blast.
This Milford Cruise was the highlight of our trip! We were lucky enough to have amazing weather, despite the drizzly trip there. Boarding the boat, we were greeted by lovely staff with big smiles. The skipper, Edward, was very chatty along the way and his knowledge of the area was amazing! He was very funny and witty which made the experience even better. Jucy Cruises / Pure Milford is something I will recommend to everyone I know!
Our first helicopter ride, it was such an experience. Will def do it again. Longer would be icing on the cake. Highly recommended.
Charlotte was our pilot. She was so friendly and professional. Our short flight up was well worth it. Views were stunning and we were lucky enough to have a friendly couple with us on our flight too. Highly recommended! It’s a must do.
Pilot was awesome
We were lucky, we had the perfect weather, went up to cecil peak hopped out had a play in the snow Well worth doing!!!!
It was awesome. The views up there are mind blowing. Unforgettable experience.
We had an amazing flight 20 mins views were amazing
Great experience and would definitely do it again. Friendly pilot and the weather was great (late October-little bit of snow)
The flight itself was cruisey and the pilot was very informative. He took the time to take photos of my partner and I as well as the other two girls who flew with us which was great! The snow landing was amazing, as were the beautiful views!
Had never been in a helicopter before so didn’t know what to expect. I get motion sickness with flying and boats so I was really worried about that - but no issues at all with the helicopter ride. The views were spectacular with the snow, it really was breathtaking. It was also special being somewhere that would have been difficult to get to by foot!
We were picked up at our accommodation by Carl and taken to the base near the airport. We were given a safety briefing by our pilot who was also Carl, he strapped us in and we were away for an amazing flight over Queenstown. The flight was smooth, which is saying something as I hate flying. We were given a commentary of the area by the friendly and reassuring Carl, who landed us on a mountain with great views overlooking Queenstown, he told us where we could go and where not to go and even helped us take some great photos, he then loaded us on and took us back to base. I would recommended Heli Tours Queenstown to anyone. This is something you have to do whilst in Queenstown.
Pick up and drop off was arranged and free of charge, ground staff are friendly and helpful. Pilot Scotty was nice, excellent view and experience, our two mothers and 3 yr old son enjoyed it very much! Love the snow landing. Highly recommended.
Definitely worth trying, the view is breathtaking, staff is friendly, the pilot also gave my son a cap as gift, thanks.
Shoutout to our Skydiver Masters to Luke and Rudolf. They took all the efforts to make us comfortable and relax. The Video was worth the money and it was great. Safety is there primary important. Thank you NZONE.
Garreth as the Pilot and Bill as the co pilot did an absolutely amazing flight. Taking us to the tops of the Remarkables to see the billion $$$ views. Smooth and safe flight with lots of hours between the Pilot and co Pilot! The pleasant journey was worth every dollars we have spent! Off the plane and on the cruise was easy and Cruise was incredible to see all the beauty that Milford Sound had to offer. I wish they sell some Wine or beer at the Cruise ?. Back to plane after cruise and off we went! We started flying 12.10pm and were back in Queenstown by 4.15pm. The best 8-10 hrs that I have saved to explore more of Queenstown. Will recommend this for sure!
The highlight of our time in Queenstown - an absolute must do. Spectacular!
We enjoyed ourselves on the cruise. Great views and this boat really takes you quite far. Yummy cheeses and tasty wine. Just the speakers were quite mumm, so we couldn't really hear anything from the captain commenting on the places around. Good times anyway!
Experience the true beauty of Queenstown and Milford Soubd with friendly staff.
Clean and tidy boat, we received 1 free tea or coffee each and the captain gave a great commentary. Really enjoyed our trip and it was absolutely worth doing. We went in the morning and it was beautiful and clear, gorgeous views. Super cold outside on the viewing deck though so rug up!
AWESOME trip perfect weather and great interesting commentary along the way on points of interest and a bit of history.
the Earnslaw cruise rocks. beautiful & old ship, good sailors, windy bow with a head wind. it was nice experience. you can buy a picture you took on board. Crews will find you.
My hubby loved being able to go and see the steam engine at work in the belly of the ship. Meat at bbq was cold, good service and friendly staff. Overall enjoyable experience, he is glad I persuaded him to go!
Amazing venue and beautiful day we had to explore Walter Peak Station. The food was incredible and we could have easily spent more time there. Totally recommend !!
What a great day perfect weather gpot to see the workings of the Earnslaw and the welcome from Walter Peak Station was fantastic .....lunch was devine
My family and I had so much fun with this experience for my birthday yesterday!! From the TSS Earnslaw ride with lovely and chill music playing at the background (the lady playing the piano was amazing and talented). At the Walter Peak, I was completely in awe of its beauty. I just wish i had time to walk around the place as time was hectic in this activity. The farm show was fun too, those farm dogs were amazing! And finally, the BBQ BUFFET LUNCH! That was super delicious! Overall I would rate it as 10/10. Super happy with the experience!
We used the book.me site to get the $65 deal for the Earnslaw cruise and Walter Peak Station lunch. It was a fabulous experience and the barbecue lunch was absolutely fantastic. The most tender meat including Canterbury lamb, roast pork, beef, designer sausages and chicken. There was a wide range of salads and hot vegetables. Cold meats, olives, cheeses and then the most gorgeous array of desserts. The boat trip was lovely and included at Walter Peak was a display of working farm dogs herding some sheep. A fantastic experience which I would recommend highly.
Absolutely loved this steamboat trip with gourmet BBQ and shearing demonstration. We didn't expect much as booked spontaneously online but we loved the old fancy boat, the pianist on the boat set the scene, too but was just outstanding was the buffet BBQ. We're gonna dream about that for months or even years to come. The restaurant was in such a break spot as well. Highly recommended!
Such a wonderful experience, superb dining and loads of good company. Will definitely coming back to do this again.
Fantastic Dinner.Nice atmosphere. I love the desserts here.
So amazing. The views on the earnslaw on the way out are fantastic. The boat is beautiful, farm tour great for those visiting New Zealand. If your from NZ then you’ve seen a sheep being sheared but still cool. Finally the food was delicious!! We had the lunch and we loved it.
One of the highlights of our trip.
What a fab way to spend 4 hours. Cruising aboard the 1912 Steamship - TSS Earnslaw (launched the same year as the Titanic - with a better outcome!) - sail to Walter Peak Station- then a magnificent sit down ( in a comfortable restaurant) BBQ lunch smorgasbord. A glass of wine and desert and a wall of candy to finish. Then a seat on the beach or admire the cottage gardens ( grown in the mild microclimate of this area) or experience some sheep shearing. So easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
What wonderful way to experience Queenstown and the Lake. The TSS Earnslaw boat trip and BBQ lunch was a brilliant experience, assisted by the calm, sunny day that we had. The trip gave us the opportunity to travel on a beautifully restored boat to Walter Peak Station and then be able to wander around the well kept, beautiful gardens and grounds before an outstanding lunch. Due to COVID restrictions the BBQ buffet lunch was replaced with a buffet to table service which I think was even better experience wise. Attentive service from our wait staff and some great local wine made it for a wonderful lunch. Time after to wander around the grounds, check out some of the "pet" livestock and a quick introduction to how sheep dogs do their job made it a great afternoon. Highly recommended.
Lovely trip. Sister time really enjoyed afternoon tea dog trials.Overcast day but still great.
Had a lovely day trip to Walter Peak on the earnslaw. The lunch is so delicious and perfectly cooked. Loved seeing all the animals and the flowers in he homesteads garden. Thanks to lovely gardener that helped us to identify some of the flowers!
The working dogs were amazing to see them in action, the host was very knowledgeable and friendly, the farm tour was well worth it, I would go again! The beautiful afternoon tea in the big house was delicious with a log fire and welcoming staff. Throughly enjoyed the day and the sing song around the piano rounded the experience off completely!
