Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • Minimum age 8. All kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Small groups of up to six riders (if your group exceeds six people please enquire about a custom trek) Suitable for all riding abilities. We always match the pace to the slowest rider if you prefer a faster pace please enquire about our private treks. Kids under 10 years need to be led on a rope. For older kids and nervous riders who would like to be led on a rope please let us know before booking. The weight limit for our treks is 100kg..

    Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your booking.

    Depending of time of year the morning ride departs between 9 and 10am. this will be confirmed by email the day prior.

    the afternoon ride departs between 12pm and 1pm which will also be confirmed by email the day prior.

    The gate is right next to the Highway and is usually locked. We will meet you there. at the time of your booking. Please note there are no toilets on site - public toilets are a five minute drive away in Cromwell.

    Please wear closed shoes, long pants and weather appropriate clothing. Let us know if you have any questions!
