- A unique and fun way to explore Queenstown
A quick training session gets you used to the unique motion of the Segway before you embark on the tour.
Taking you through St Omer Park and around Queenstown Bay, your friendly guide will show you points of interest, and provide light commentary as you interact with your uniquely fascinating Segway. The tour takes you a little out of town and up a hill or two before giving you time to explore and play some more with the Segway in the beautiful Queenstown Gardens.
On the way back you have the option to experience an even higher speed setting, leaving you in awe of the amazing technology that is the eco-friendly Segway.
How does it work?
Segway Smart Motion maintains balance while moving forwards or turning. Just lean forwards to go forwards and lean back to stop, simple! You'll be amazed how quickly the Segway becomes an extension of your own body, as you naturally feel confident with it's movement and control.
How fast does it go?
On the open speed setting the Segway achieves a sprinting pace of up to 20km/ph. Of course speed control settings ensure you have time to get the hang of things before deciding to push the limits.

Fantastic tour
Kevin was a great host and taught us to Segway well and bits about the town. It was a fun 2h!

Awesome way to see Queenstown!
Segway on Q was an absolutely awesome way to see Queenstown. Kevin was an excellent guide who made us feel safe and comfortable as he explained how to handle each new part of the track and was very knowledgeable on the area. Such a fun way to see some incredible views!

Amazing Tour
Simply the best way to see Queenstown and learn the history. Kevin is a great instructor, he is very clear and precise but also patient. Me and my wife’s first time on a segway and it was such a fun experience we would do it all over again next time we are back. Mr and Mrs Taufelila thank you very much for the memories. A+++
