This was a fabulous way to see Waiheke. Very informative driver's, witty and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this as a must when on the island. Got to see so much. Will definitely book again
Very easy service. Just select which stops you would to get off at and jump on and off as you please. Well timed with ferries. Good commentary. Quite pricey for what it is.
Imagine waiting in a que to be angrily dismissed by the driver who got very short with my mother in law, then to have to wait another 30 minutes for a normal bus to come and take us into town and then have to wait a further 45 minutes for the actual bus to finally come and for us to begin our day. Waiting for buses every hour rather than 1/2 hourly as advertised. The driver almost stalled on a hill and significantly rolled backwards, which is an automatic fail in gaining your bus license. My wife’s birthday plans completely ruined, by the time we got back to do the sculpture trail they were closing for the day and we had to beg them to take us. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend it!
Ferry trip was the high light. Got off at stop 6 for farmers market, waited to get back on bus with others, 1st bus came and was told it was full and another bus would come soon, no other bus came until the due one arrived half hour later, was full and was told another bus coming soon, half hour later another full bus came and said sorry no room, extra bus was to follow. Gave up and went across road to get hop on bus back to ferry, waved at bus ( empty bus ) and driver pointed up hill to where official hop on hop off bus sign was. ended up getting local red bus back to ferry terminal. I intend to try and get a refund for bus part of the excursion but if they are anything like their island service, I guess I could be waiting a while. Now they know how many tickets they have sold, so they should operate the service accordingly.

Great experience by the Tour operators
The tour buses are clean and staff are friendly. One lady in particular was very friendly and explained all the stops. Definitely recommend using the tour bus if you're travelling around Waiheke for the first time.
