Step on board the Million Dollar Cruise for an exclusive trip on Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu.
wow thank you for your glowing words Sekileki, it's all about customer service and making our cruise enjoyable and relaxing.
Great day for it , no dramas. Cash bar self service ! My one suggestion (sorry Betty) the skipper although amazingly friendly did tend to speak a little fast . I am from the UK and even I struggled to understand what he was saying sometimes 😁 Great trip 👍
Thanks Alan, yes the skipper can talk a little fast sometimes. I have mentioned to him to speak more clearly also.
Skipper very informative and friendly. Great price
Thank you Susan
The cruise was good, but the staff was not so much. The operator of the boat/cruise was firstly rude regarding our kids, upon booking the tickets it was stated that child tickets were for 5 years old and over and 0-4 were Free. On my booking, I did inform them we will have 4 kids - all 4 and under. Tickets said 4 adults and 4 infants, but the operator while letting us on said so loudly aren't our kids way too old to be infants as if we were sneaking on older kids, everyone looked and it was embarrassing! Does he not know their pricing plan? Plus was rude regarding us bringing a pizza onboard saying don't take it inside because it'll stink up the boat, we were already informed nicely which part of the boat is food friendly but the operator just ruined the whole experience for us.
I must apologise for that - no excuse but the captain had been having terrible problems with children on the boat and I think he is just getting over it. I know some children look much older than they are and there is no excuse for him being so rude. He is basically retired now as has been doing it for 15 years and his patience is wearing thin.!!!
It was ok, if you have nothing to do then do this. They just show us million dollar houses which was not very interesting. The cruise on the boat was good tho.
Sorry you were disappointed Anisha, Its not all about the houses although we are called the Million Dollar Cruise. We also show you wild trout, historic dams, willow islands places where the lord of the rings and other movies were made also our fabulous commentary, along with a cash bar and heated what more could you want.!!!

Million Dollar Energy
From the jovial personality at the ticket office to the hilarious Captain Wayne on the cruise—top notch all around. Informative with interesting facts about the area and history delivered with charisma made for Hollywood. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with nothing but great energy and vibes. Made a slightly autumn rainy day feel like a tropical summer. Thank you!
