Departing 12pm daily from central Queenstown, our friendly expert wine guide will help you customize your own wine tour, so you get the most out of your day with us. You can enjoy an array of winery restaurants & cellar doors, all highlighting our amazing Central Otago wines.
Our Wine Hopper Bus is ideal for the independent traveller, or perfect to enjoy as a couple, or with a group of friends and family. With no set timetable, our guide will take care of your drop off & pick up times, & can be flexible, so you can enjoy a relaxing experience, exploring our wineries at your leisure. There are also options for cheese tastings, delicious winery lunches, sumptuous platters, or places to simply enjoy a fabulous local craft beer!
You start your day with a fabulous scenic drive out to our wine region, showcasing the very best of Queenstown's countryside with breath-taking mountain landscapes & panoramic stunning lake and river views.

All the wineries we visit are very close together, making it easy to give you the best day out & we'll have you back in town by approximately 6pm.

Awesome Afternoon Out
Andrew was absolutely awesome. Nothing was an issue and he got everyone where they needed to go. He even got in and out of the rain to ensure we got to our tastings safely. He was always on time. The others on the tour were really friendly. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon.

Great tour
Our tour guide Angus was very knowledgeable about the wine region and did an amazing job getting us all from one winery to another. Highly recommend

Best Winery Tour Service
Ed our tour guide was fantastic. He gave us recommendations on which winery to visit, which wines to try and which food to eat. We all loved and enjoyed our winery tour and having the only group on that day was a bonus. It felt like a private tour. Thanks Ed for making this experience very memorable!

Wine Hopper tour
Our driver, Ed, was great. Nothing was too much trouble. We visited several vineyards of our choice and he took us to Ayrburn which was new and a great way to finish the day. Would definitely recommend and will use this service again in the future.

I had an amazing day on this tour. Flexibility to choose what vineyards you want to stop at and for how long you want to stay. Andrew, our driver, was great. Highly recommend!
