Confinement Hamilton offers 5 exciting escape rooms with unique themes, storylines and clues as well as outdoor scavenger hunt's perfect for people who enjoy problem-solving games, parties, corporate team building and stags or hens do's.
We are located in central Hamilton, Confinement Hamilton is the first Escape Room in New Zealand to achieve a Qualmark certification.
Our outdoor Scavenger Hunt will have you exploring Hamilton's CBD on foot solving clues, unlocking locks and completing tasks - just like an outdoor escape room.
The Scavenger Hunt can accommodate teams of 2 - 6 people per game. We have 6 backpacks available per Game Scenario, so any larger groups can form additional teams and grab extra backpacks.
Can you unlock everything and complete all the tasks in one hour?
The Defenders
Storyline: You arrive home to find your family is missing. A stranger calls you to let you know if you ever want to see your family again you have to follow his instructions.
Can you unlock the locks, solve the clues and complete the tasks in time to save your family?

Great outdoor puzzling fun!!
Loved this experience! We are not from Hamilton (But have been to the city a few times before, so roughly know our way around!) so didn't know lots of the icons and landmarks we had to find, but still managed to find everything except one! There is a map provided if you would like a little hint, but if you know the city well, there is an option to complete the hunt in 60 mins for more of a challenge! We did it in the 90 minute time allocation! Great fun activity for families, couples and groups!
