Confinement Hamilton offers a range of exciting escape rooms and outdoor scavenger hunts, perfect for those who enjoy problem-solving games. These activities are also great options for corporate team building, birthday parties, and stag or hen dos. Located in Central Hamilton, Confinement Hamilton is the first Escape Room in New Zealand to achieve a Qualmark certification.

Confinement’s fantastic Escape Rooms have regularly changing clues, so you can come back again and again for a fresh new challenge every time. Get your team together and put your detective hats on to see if you can solve the clues and puzzles within 60 minutes and escape the room!

Storyline:You are secret agents tasked with infiltrating an enemy spy aboard this aircraft. Their destination: the USA, where they aim to carry out a sinister scheme. Their presence is confirmed in first class. As the plane soars at 30,000 feet, first class passengers are invited to the lounge for happy hour, providing you and your team with a window to investigate the first class cabin, identify the spy, and exit the plane via parachute before their return. If time permits, seize the opportunity to uncover classified files detailing their sinister plot. Every moment counts...

Notes

  • All rooms can accommodate 2-8 players, please arrive at your booking time,

    Ages: All rooms can have players 5 years old and over, so long as there is at least one player in the room who is 14 years and older. No children under 5 years old are permitted access to the Escape Rooms, for Health & Safety reasons.

    If you run out of time to complete the Escape Room, a staff member will let you out and you will be invited to come back and try the room again on another day.

    Feeling locked in or claustrophobic? No need to worry, the Escape Rooms are big and there are no extremely small spaces, and the entry door is unlocked for you to leave if you feel uncomfortable or need a toilet break.

Incredible!!

This is the first escape room I have ever attempted, and I was far from disappointed! The puzzles were super fun and got the brain working with amazing attention to detail within the aeroplane themed setup of the room. The guy on shift (Josh) was really nice and accommodating - helping us out when needed to ensure we enjoyed our experience. Would highly recommend!

Fun experience

We had a fun time trying to solve the clues :) The staff were fantastic and very patient with helping us out to find the clue when stuck in the game ! Overall , a fun & positive experience had by all!

A fun and entertaining way to spend an hour puzzling your way to get yourself off the flight. Use one of your 3 free QR scans to get you started if it’s your first time. Recommend 4 people play in a team as it’s quite a small area inside. Would do it again.
