An amazing experience!
The helicopter ride itself was amazing. Loved it. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The only negative was the poor customer service from the staff in the office. But the helicopter pilot was great.

Snow Landing Flight - Heli Glenorchy
Our family loved the experience. Had such perfect weather for our flight. We were also fortunate enough to experience the snow landing as the snow is now starting to melt. It truly was a great way to see Glenorchy and an awesome experience.

Snow landing
With a brief but informative video first, we then went to the helipad to await our ride. The kids were super excited and watched the video attentively. Then it was time to "get to the chopper." The pilot was awesome and explained what he was doing at every stage. The liftoff was exhilarating and the flight was quite amazing. On an wonderful summers day (January 14th) we flew up to the Humboldt Glacier. We played on snow for awhile, and the boy and I went down to the crystal clear water. I left a snow angel, and we threw plenty of snowballs. It is a big drive to Glenorchy, but it was definitely worth it. Thank you Heli Glenorchy.

Great experience
