Just 45 mins drive from central Auckland, Sheepworld offers a genuine farm experience with easy access. Take time-out to interact with the farm animals and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the farm, and on into an enchanting stand of NZ native bush.
The Sheep-Shearing Shows let you experience a live round-up with working dogs, drafting and shearing demonstration, all from the comfort of a barn where everyone gets a great view and you can get close to the action. Daily, you can also join one of our famers on the Feed-out for the farm animals, a guided tour where you can get to interact with the animals up close.
Enjoy visiting our Gift Shop, playground for the kids, or something special from our onsite Cafe.
Show Times:
Sheep-Shearing shows run Thursday - Sunday, at 11:00 am during Winter. During Summer Months December & Jan we have daily Shearing Shows.
Our farmer hosts an interactive animal feed-out for all the animals at approximately 12:30pm each day.
Sheepworld is open 10-4pm Daily

Just awesome
Booked online for our group of 5 including friends visiting from overseas : 11am show and farm entry. Really loved everything about our visit here including interactive farm talk , working dogs demo and sheep shearing show, cafe, hand feeding the farm animals, playground. and definitely have a real fruit Ice-cream, so fresh and yum .

Great Show
I took my son to this show yesterday. It was his first time going. We packed a picnic lunch & were set for the whole day. My son is 7 and had an absolutely magical time. His favourite parts were watching the sheep be shorn & having pats with the deer (Reindeer) Sheepworld also had a free face painter onsite during the middle of the day - which was a huge hit! As a Mum I love that I can bring our own food for lunch to make the day more affordable. The day was topped off with a delicious fresh fruit frozen yogurt made onsite at a cute little stall next to the cafe

Fantastic farm
Great place for families and kids . Great staff and performance. Well maintained place and lots of farm animals.
