Blast through narrow canyons, and speed over the crystal clear waters of the upper Waikato River. Experience the thrill and manoeuvrability of this impressive watercraft as your jet boat negotiates tight spins and takes on the Nga Awa Purua Rapids with full V8 power and aggression; surfing the pressure waves and ripping up and down the white water.
The scenery on the river is spectacular and there is ample time to enjoy your amazing surrounds while learning about the wildlife and history of the area.
Rapids Jet is set in the beautiful Aratiatia Scenic Reserve just 15 minutes drive north of Taupo and 50 minutes south of Rotorua and is guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

Great fun

Fantastic experience
Brilliant trip from start to finish - staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of thrills whilst speeding down the river.

Okay
Staff were lovely but it wasn’t as exciting as I had hoped and so I thought it was a bit over priced and scenery was average.

You wont regret it!
The team at rapid jets made the experience a 10/10 for me. Lots of humor and fun. They listened and supported each rider along the way. Riding with Rapid Jets was definetly an experience my family will never forget.
