Enjoyable hot pools.
We had booked a private pool for half an hour. I didn't realise there was a shower in the private room so got changed and showered in the public bathrooms. All the pools looked clean, there were different temperatures in each one. It wasn't crowded when we were there and access to the pools was easy. Enjoyed the whole time there. If you book a private pool get there a bit early to get the full time booked.

private pool
Great job! We showed up from our cruise ship, hug out in the private pool area for about an hour relaxing AND sweating. Then, we headed outside for another hour and I read a book in the sunshine. Very relaxing and even time to take a trip around the mountain before returning to ship (another 1 hour)

Mt Maunganui hot pools
5 stars We treated ourselves to the private pools and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful day core. Felt peaceful and even had a Bluetooth speaker to connect your music. We went on a Sunday and had access to the normal pool area were there was a live singer which elevated the experience even more. Highly recommend 👌.

Loved the pools
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and condition of the complex. All the pools looked new, clean and had sparkling water. I loved the choice of tiles used and there was plenty of lockers
