The Gourmet Day Tour is a flexible and private gourmet day tour of Nelson's boutique family owned vineyards.

Get ready for a fun-filled day of wine tasting and photo ops! On this tour, you'll experience wines right where they’re made and discover the unique flavours created by the sunny, stony soils of the Waimea Plains and the gravelly clay soils of the rolling Moutere Hills.

Nelson Tasman, located in the north-western part of South Island, is a picturesque wine-producing region known for its mild climate and over 30 family-owned vineyards. This area produces outstanding robust red wines and distinctive white wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling.

Your guide, CJ, is an aspiring winemaker, practicing the art at home. Join us for an awesome day out where you’ll learn how to taste wine like a pro—or at least have a lot of fun pretending! We’ll visit four wineries, each offering tastings, learning experiences, photography moments, and plenty of laughter.

You'll also get the chance to meet winemakers and vineyard owners when possible and feel their passion for their craft.

Areas we’ll explore include two of the four unique regions: Waimea Plains, Moutere Hills, Kina Cliffs, and Riwaka.

Join us for a fantastic day of wine, learning, and fun in the beautiful Nelson Tasman region!
