Discover the heart of New Zealand’s wine revolution on our Marlborough Wine Tour! In the 1970s, Marlborough transformed winemaking with innovative techniques borrowed from the dairy industry, creating world-renowned Sauvignon Blanc and other delicious varieties.

Today, Marlborough boasts 80% of New Zealand’s vineyard area. Its unique climate, with hot sunny days and cool nights, extends the ripening period, making it a premier wine-producing region.

The tour begins with a pick-up from your Nelson accommodation. Enjoy a scenic drive east to Marlborough, taking in the sights along the way.

Once in Marlborough, we’ll visit four carefully selected vineyard cellar doors, each offering a unique style and atmosphere. Your guide will ensure you experience some of the best wines Marlborough has to offer.

Lunch will be at a delightful spot that can accommodate any dietary needs. Afterwards, you have the option to visit the Makana Boutique Chocolate Factory for a sweet treat and a behind-the-scenes look at chocolate making.

We'll return to Nelson, concluding a fantastic day exploring the Wairau Plains and Southern Valleys.

Join us for an unforgettable journey through Marlborough’s wine country!
