You get to visit various filming locations for the Lord of the Rings trilogy with an entertaining and knowledgeable guide who will bring the stories to life, share secrets about how locations were transformed into Middle Earth, and even let you re-live the action through your very own camera!
You handle and photograph over $15,000 worth of weapons and costumes and create your very own fantasy adventure film!
On this tour, experience the spectacular landscapes of featured films such as The Argonath (Pillars of the King), The Gladden Fields and The Ford of Bruinen. Learn about the history of gold mining while visiting the picturesque Arrowtown.

There and Back Again
Annie our Fearless Devonian leader, betwixt with Gandalfian wisdom led our band of Hobbits, Dwarves and Orcs unerringly on our tour to Middle Earth. She inspired and dared us to rate our Tolkien knowledge and proceeded to weave us into her Shelobian Orb of Cirith Ungol “the path of the Spider” As we Wended Our Way to Mordor, at every twist and turn Annie questioned and encouraged us to remember, recite and recall our knowledge of both book and film to magically transport us to the location scenes and shots with the physical scripts, costumes and props to bring “Alive” “The Trail to Middle Earth.” Highly Recommended afternoon with our excellent guide Annie and great fellow travellers.

Super Tour
Eine sehr schöne Tour, rund um Queenstown hat man einige Orte gesehen, die mit LOTR zusammen hängen. Wie auch bei anderen Touren ist natürlich nichts mehr vom Set zu sehen, aber der Guide, der allzeit sympathisch und informativ war, brachte die Orte mit Fotos und Erzählungen zum Leben. Einzige Kritik gilt Bookme: Zur Buchung hieß es Dauer 3-3,5 Stunden, also ging mein Parkticket auch nur für max.4h. Die Tour dauert aber 4,5h... Wurde mittlerweile korrigiert.

I had an awesome time on this tour, very knowledgeable and friendly service! Definitely go with this company, they have the coolest call sheets and props at the end too!

Fantastic Tour!
Our guide Annie was amazing, full of knowledge with interesting facts. Definitely worth doing this tour even if you're not a LOTR fan. A great way to see Queenstown and the surrounding areas' natural beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the props stop was a bonus on top! Highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommended LOTR-Tour
Great tour with a great guide. Annie shared her nerd knowledge about LOTR in a very catching way. It was really interesting to get all this background inputs about the movie making of LOTR. The tour not only met my expectations, it even exceeded them. Thanks to Annie.
