We were met on time by Ross who advised us that we would commence our journey from Clyde a very wise choice noting the inclement weather. Ross briefed us on the ebikes where we had a test run before heading out. Ride experience exceeded our expectations and the rain stayed away.
The service is excellent and valued. Recommended to rent E-bike for this long nice trail which has some steeps. It would be save energy. The staffs is very nice and friendly, help to take photos. Recommended to rent from them, it's the best team.
Our driver, Ross, picked us up in Cromwell and took us over to start the ride in Clyde. He was totally fantastic - friendly, funny, informative, everything you could wish for. The bikes were a dream. Seriously nice and worked beautifully. And yes Clyde to Cromwell is the best way to go. The ride itself.... OK, those safety videos do not lie. There are some buttock clenching moments - narrow tracks with a steep drop off next to you, hairpin turns, blind corners and then of course there are a few hills in the way. The e-bikes really helped. My husband pedalled up with ease ( not even out of eco), whilst I pumped mine up to normal and occasionally high for those inclines. Life saver. I'm a reasonably nervous/ low confidence cyclist and it was a challenging ride in parts but boy, it was totally worth it. The views are amazing, the track itself is ( mostly) wide and compacted, and the vineyard about 10kms before the end is a godsend!!

Amazing cycle
The bike ride was brilliant. Definitely better with an E bike for the hill climbs on the route. The coffee a float boat is a fantastic stop off point.
