Together with your expert guide, your team will enjoy a 50 minute action packed ride down 14 epic rapids in a tight and twisting warm water jungle canyon.
This is a white water enthusiasts dream and is a must do for adrenaline junkies and 1st timers rafters alike!
No prior experience is necessary as you will be given full and comprehensive training but basic swimming skills is recommended
All you need is a reasonable level of fitness, a sense of fun and adventure, swimwear and a towel.

An absolute Must Do experience with great guides!
This rafting trip was one of the best things I did during my 3 Months travelling New Zealand! Not a single boring minute while we were on (or in :-) the water, great guides, very good instructions and safety briefings and you never got the feeling you were "rushed through" the whole experience! And with Kaituna Cascades you're right by the river and just walk across the street to start your trip! Would always do it again there! And yes, the Photos are expensive, but they're great :-)

Bloody awesome!
We did water rafting with Kaituna Cascades. The staff were all competent, confident and operated as a well-coordinated team. Ethan was our guide and he was professional and hilarious. His briefings were concise and clear. He managed a boat full of hungover miscreants masterfully, keeping us safe first and getting the most out of the experience for us. I would do it again - and recommend it to any considering it. Cheers Kaituna Cascades. You guys are awesome.

Excellent experience
Positives Cheerful staff Good safety measures They provide swimwear and thermals Awesome and thrilling experience Negatives: They don't allow us to pee in the swimwear.

Awesome
Exhilarating fun few hours, highly recommended to all however you must be reasonably fit & able to move about freely. From the first initial greeting, the safety talk & the actual white water rafting experience our Raft leader Dan was professional & an expert I could trust 100% - definitely well worth it. We will be back. Thank you Kaituna Cascades you were amazing 🤩
