Whangamata Beach offers a picturesque location with a surf break to suit surfers of all levels.

Our lessons are suitable for complete beginners to those who have tried surfing before. The small class sizes ensure everyone gets the help they need to learn the basics of positioning, paddling and of course standing up!

Surf lessons for beginners

We have 2 teenagers and put them in 2 lessons each. They were really happy and 2nd lesson build nicely on what they already learned. If we stayed longer I would book another set as well. They were also very accomidating with times.

Great Experience

Kat was fantastic with our 12 & 10 year olds. Had them both up & riding waves & they loved it. We & they felt safe with Kat in the water & we now have our 12 year old daughter wanting to take up surfing! Highly recommend :-)
