Emerson’s are the best !

We took my brother from Auckland to the Emerson’s tour. It was very informative, creative and lead by a young man passionate about the brewing process and the accomplishments of Emerson’s brewing team . My brother enjoyed the tasting tray with an excellent meal . Thank you Team.

A great evening

We booked a tour of the brewery at 7 pm and our dinner at 8. Surprise for us, we saw the name of our guide, Thibault and we knew it was French. As we are French Canadian, we had our tour in French and also because we were the only one in that tour. Thibault explained very well all the aspects of Emerson’s Brewery and the brewering process without rushing anything and with dynamism; he is a asset for the brewery. He answered my numerous questions and took time to get the answers for 2 questions that he did know. As we had a supper reservation, we had the tastings at our table with the individual explanations on our six beers. Highly recommended

Wonderful and informative tour!

My sister and I booked a tour of the brewery as a part of our holiday, and we had a wonderful time. Our guide, the lovely Thibeaut (I hope that's spelt correctly!), was knowledgeable, friendly and informative, and we had a wonderful time walking through the different areas and learning about the brewing process, the differences between the different styles of ales and lagers, and learning about how Emersons started out as a brewery - and the tasting flight of beers after the tour with a couple of snacky plates by the fireplace was the perfect way to round off the evening. Would 100% recommend the tour to anyone interested in beer, Emersons or who wants to learn something new. Bonus points if you also get Thibeaut as a guide - he made an already great tour even better!

Emersons - great value Tour

A tour of the Emersons Brewery is a great way to spend a cold Dunedin afternoon. We booked a 4pm tour followed by a table for dinner in the Taproom. We met our guide Thibou, he was both friendly and knowledgeable, talking us through each stage of the brewing process from mashing to bottling. Well worth the time and money and includes a paddle of six beers. A must-do if you haven't been already. Book well ahead for a table afterwards as restaurant is very popular.
