My kids loved it
Thank you for an awesome 2hr lesson, my kids absolutely loved it, my daughter loves the sea but has never surfed so was a great way to spend her bday - we will definitely be back!

Lovely people train well
Easy drive from Auckland… just account for up to 1.5 hours extra for unexpected traffic hold ups

Nice but too many students per group
The two instructors were really nice and had helpful Tipps, but with 12 students, they couldn't really be with everyone. Should be max. 10 people per group or more instructors

Fun Surf Experience
Had a great lesson with Aotearoa Surf School. The instructors were attentive to everyone’s different levels and needs, ensuring the entire group was happy. Look forward to joining them again.

So much fun!
It was my very first time taking surf lessons with my sister. When we first arrived the waves looked huge and slightly intimidating. But the instructors gave us plenty of hands on help and the waves weren’t scary at all after that! I felt very safe and the whole experience was so much fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to get into surfing for the first time
