My elderly parents went on this tour and had a great experience
We enjoyed our time. The island is beautiful, but the drive is a far (from Momi Bay) and the ride back didn't come for about 40 minutes after arriving back from trip which made for an extra long day with 4 kids.
We enjoyed the village tour and observing the village way of life. Lovely welcome songs and a chance to participate in a kava ceremony. Heading to Robinson Crusoe Island we pulled up some metal crab traps with two crabs. Later the cooking demonstration was a quick look at the ingredients they then used to cmake the crab curry, and the coconut was scraped during the coconut demonstration through a small window into the kitchen. They served a small bowl per family in a coconut. No snorkelling--the sea is too muddy from the run off of the mountains in the wet season (Jan). The stuff we're friendly and worked hard to keep us entertained. The nature walk was looking at simple signs like 'healing tree' walking along a path with construction of new cabins in progress. Loved the weaving demonstration and making boats for our kids out of banana palms. A good day out with the kids.
