Experience the ULTIMATE ENCOUNTER and snorkel with sharks in their natural environment – With no cages and only crystal clear water between you and the sharks, this is an adrenalin rush like no other!

Your incredible journey begins when we transfer you from your Nadi or Denarau accommodation to Denarau Marina to board our luxurious high speed catamaran the ‘Yasawa Flyer’.

Sit back and relax on our comfortable observation decks as we cruise through the idyllic Mamanuca Islands and head towards the stunning more isolated Yasawa Islands.

Upon disembarking at the paradise-like Kuata Island, your experienced guides will provide a safety briefing before they enter the water with you to get up close and personal to White and Black Tip Reef Sharks.

See and interact with these magnificent creatures in their natural habit – A once in a lifetime experience that will be the highlight of your Fijian holiday.

Following your shark encounter you can enjoy a delicious two course lunch at the Barefoot Kuata Island restaurant and then reflect upon your day as you sip on a cool beverage on a hammock in paradise.

Incredible Day

Could not believe the moment the boat stopped for us to head into the water that the sharks would be right there and waiting! Had a fabulous time in the water and a lovely lunch and time spent on the Island. We will be coming back again!

Good experience

Overall was nice experience and we saw plenty of reef sharks! Lunch was nice as well with lots of choices. There was no choices for short sided and far sided guests to choose optical goggles. Please prepare your own goggle if you really need that.

Great tour not to be missed

The day started with the boat transfer for about 2 hours with seats in the captains lounge included. When we arrived at the island, the snorkelling tour began a few minutes later. You drive around 15 min. to the sharks and then you have ~30-40min. time to snorkel. We saw like 10 sharks and at no point you feel like you‘re in any danger. The crew was fantastic and funny and managed everything really well. Back to the island we even stopped to see a hammerhead. After the tour it‘s lunchtime and then you have 2-3 hours on the island to do whatever you want. The whole trip was really good, the reason why it‘s not 5 stars is because you could‘ve as well just booked the normal full day Kuata island tour for 100$ less and buy the trip on the island for 65$ and there were no soft drinks included (which were in other day trips included where we paid less) and the time on the island is rather short when you board again at 3:15pm. But it‘s definitely an experience not to be missed and the locals are all very friendly
