Get a taste of real Fiji village life with a cruise on the Sigatoka River.

The Sigatoka River is 1020kms in length and a lifeline to Fijian people. Take a cruise with Coastal Inland Tours to experience the refreshing magic of village life. The river is a crucial part of existence, providing food (mussels, prawns, eels and fish) and water for both drinking and agriculture.

The Nahigatoka River Cruise will inform and delight as you explore the depths of Fiji living and its history.

You’ll sail the river for 45 minutes before enjoying a welcome Kava ceremony at the village, followed by a traditional light lunch and juices. Relax into the village atmosphere as you learn Fijian art and craft skills, learn about the historical sites and be entertained by the locals. You can enjoy a quick shopping trip before heading back to your resort.

Bottled water is provided throughout your tour.
