Feel the thrill of sitting in the pilot’s seat, taking the controls then soaring high above some of Dunedin’s best loved landmarks. Enjoy the panoramic views of some of the most stunning scenery in New Zealand including Taeri Plains and Dunedin City.

Its just you and the pilot allowing for that personal one on one training. A once in a lifetime journey that’s simply not to be missed!

  • Please Note: Passengers will need to notify Mainland Air Services, upon booking if any passengers are over 100kg, for loading purposes.

    Flights are subject to weather conditions and, due to this, may be postponed at pilot in command's discretion.

    Because this activity has weather constraints the activity provider asks that you make contact 24hours before your scheduled booking. In the event that your booking is cancelled/postponed you will either be offered another comparable trip at no extra charge to you, or a full refund.

Almost worth it

This product appears to be aimong as an introduction to flying a small aircraft. Or just a recreational flight. The flight time is okay but it lacked proper greeting and sending away. There was a 'meeting' in the office so we couldn't even get it. Waited outside the hangar. Could've had a symbolic 'certificate of first flight or something'. Not quite what I was expecting.

Oh dear, I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience and it is not what you were expecting. Unfortunately, if the door was locked, you must have arrived when the pilot was away flying. ...we operate with minimal staff during the weekends. He normally leaves a note on the door to say that, and that he would be back soon. Again, I am sorry it did not meet your expectations.
