If you don't have time or money for the dolphin swim, then make some. No one should leave New Zealand without swimming with the playful dusky dolphins in Kaikoura ! It's a lifetime experience. And if you see any problem with diving into the ocean, then you should at least go and watch the dolphins. If you are lucky, you will see some amazing leaps, and maybe other species.
