Best Lemon Pepper Squid in NZ!
On arrival, we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant tables were nicely spaced, so you weren't encroaches on someones space, or ears! Tables were nicely set with bright, clean, linen napery, which added a special touch. My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed all the food, especially the lemon pepper Squid. The service was faultless, the waitresses were attentive, friendly and efficient, without being in your face every two minutes to ask how your food was, like most other restaurants do. We have already recommended The Thirsty peacock to our friends and can't wait to go back again!

Birthday Treat
Had a really delightful evening celebrating my 70th birthday at The Thirsty Peacock. Great selection of food and drink to choose from and first class service from the friendly staff. They even brought out to me a chocolate dessert complete with lighted candle free of charge which was a complete surprise and greatly appreciated. Cannot recommend highly enough and look forward to another visit soon.

Ein wunderbarer Abend.
Wir waren zweimal im Restaurant und haben den Abend genossen. Sehr freundlicher, angenehmer Service in einer schönen Atmosphäre mit ganz hervorragenden Gerichten. Eines der besten Restaurants in den vergangenen Monaten in Neuseeland. Wir können es ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.
