Good food, bad setting
Myself and my partner arrived at the bicycle thief looking forward to the ambiance as much as the food. Much to our dismay we were immediately ushered to some sort of tent out back beside the toilets. There was a birthday party booked and anyone not involved went to the tent, ourselves and our fellow diners were less than impressed as nobody was informed, until they arrived at the venue, of the situation. As we endured the ice cold draft running through the tent, the girls serving the tables did their best given the pressure they were under. We had the bruschetta, carbonara, pizza and tiramisu and it must be said the food was very good and we would probably return on that basis alone but 3 Stars for overall experience

Hi Roscoet, thanks for your review. Yes, we had a huge, corporate Christmas party that evening as it is the season where everyone is booking their parties with us. You were seated in our Villa San Michelle marquee which is one of our popular venues for functions. The party had already booked out our entire restaurant. I am sorry if the experience was less than you expected and I can assure you that you would usually be seated inside our restaurant (or outside in our Italian Riviera garden if the weather is warm). I am pleased that you liked our food and do hope that you visit again so you can experience our restaurant itself.

Acceptable
Meal was nice and came quickly, but pizza was not very good to my taste. Parts of the dough were under cooked and other parts were inflated too much (not in the exterior, but within the pizza). And blue cheese was not melted, which was a pitty. Also not happy with tap beers coming in 300 ml glasses and costing 12-13$ Staff is friendly though!

Our pizzas have a large fan base, so hopefully, you will have a better experience next time you dine with us. The beers are priced at restaurant prices, and we have a large selection of other drinks for people to choose from. Hope to see you again soon :)
