Great to get out here. so close to the center of the city but a whole new world. Well worth a few visits a year
Visited around midday on a Saturday. Easy to find (google). Lots of parking. Good facilities at the base. Very popular and busy park for mountain biking and zip lining. Had lunch at the cafe. OK food & service, reasonable prices, good coffee. Rode the chairlift to the top. Minimal facilities at the top, chairlift office and that’s it. GREAT views up, down & at the top. Great to visit. Will return for ziplining.
Best scenery..

Going just for the ride...
We were happy with the deal, the booking process, and the attention from staff. As grandparents, we were taking two young grandsons for a ride up and down on the chairlift, but we were not doing any biking. Although the view from the top was lovely, the area at the top of the chairlift needs attention. Of course, we realise after the fire that everything can't be done at once, but for those who are simply taking a ride, the area at the top needs to become a destination in itself. Our two grandsons quickly became bored - they like to be doing something, so some rocks to scramble on, and a nicely landscaped area for us to sit and watch would be a big plus. But all kudos to CAP for getting up and running again after the fire.
