Embrace the Maori Culture as you are welcomed into New Zealand's National Nga Hau e Wha Marae, and witness an amazing traditional performance and the fierce Haka!
A trip to New Zealand is not complete without an authentic Maori cultural experience, and He Tangata has been established in the South Island to proudly showcase just that.
Join us on a journey of the Maori people, its culture, traditions and stories as you visit Nga Hau e Wha Marae, the only National Marae in New Zealand.
You will be welcomed onto the Marae (traditional meeting place) by way of a Powhiri (traditional welcoming ceremony), after which you'll enjoy a guided tour of the Marae, learning all about the history and stories of its great ancestors.
Maori history will be bought to life by way of an amazing technology and light show where you'll be treated to a Kapa Haka performance including traditional song / dance and a fierce Haka performance!
To top it all off, you will be welcome to enjoy some light refreshments.
Location: Nga Hau e Wha Marae is located at 250 Pages Rd, Wainoni, Christchurch.
We had an enjoyable morning at the Maori Experience. This is a great way to get an understanding of the Maori heritage and culture. The singing & dancing performances were very well done. We have used the bookme site for a number of trips throughout NZ and found the discounts to be real & all of our bookings have gone gone smoothly. Highly recommend.
接待人員很熱情,說明仔細,其文化展演引人入勝。
