It was a great experience, definitely recommend it
The whole process was so easy - the check in was done online and the customer service replied to my emails quickly. I read some bad reviews about the company online so I was a bit hesitant but honestly it could not have been a better experience. The vehicle was so good, clean, spotless! It had everything I was expecting as far as chairs, pans, plates, cutlery, even gas bottles. The mystery machine design is so beautiful and made great pictures! I never had any issues on the road but I had one question to which the road assistance whatsapp replied to within seconds! I drove from Christchurch to the west coast, down to Fox Glacier and up to Westport and then back. I highly recommend renting a campervan from them!

Wicked Camper
So good for the price but expect the bare bones. No curtains and no bedding/soft furnishings: but great for budget travel

A Wicked rental
Apart from the pick up location changing to the other side of Christchurch 24 hours prior to rental commencement, I had no other issues. This is a budget rental, so don't expect bells and whistles - what you do get is a functional older style van which drives nicely, has space enough to stow your gear and a comfy mattress. Bring your own bedding and don't expect curtains. What you do get is a powerful little stove with enough utensils to produce a decent meal at a very affordable price. Wouldn't hesitate to use Wicked Camper Van Rentals again.

Winter holiday
Can't fault the communication - so thanks for that. The camper itself was comfy enough. Very basic. No curtains. The gas cooker didn't work that well either. We had really warm sleeping bags so we were never cold. We hired this camper on a winter special but there are some improvements Wicked camper should make for when the price goes up. But, all in all, it was great to go freedom camping and be able to stop when and where we liked.
