Waitomo Glowworm Cave:
Upon arrival at Waitomo Glowworm cave, their guided tour will take you through over 250 meters of stunning underground scenery commencing with the impressive Cathedral. Many of their current guides are descendants of the Maori chief who originally explored the cave and can share with you the remarkable history of the area.
Aranui Caves:
This tour mixes two of Waitomo’s most fascinating caves, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and the intimate Aranui Cave. Join the guided walking tour through an enchanted forest and learn about the native New Zealand landscape and flora. Enjoy this educational tour as you discover some of Waitomo’s largest public stalactites, stunning rock formations, and the infamous cave-dwelling weta colony.

Absolutely stunning. Loved it Visited the 3 caves all different but fabulous. A very memorable experience.

Can 100% Recommend!
Karthik had great communication and was very amenable - we really appreciated how considerate a driver and tour guide he was, and how many thoughtful recommendations he had of places to see, and things to do. As for the caves, you'll have to go and let them speak for themselves - the Waitomo boat trip under the glow-worms was well worth it and the Ruakuri cave is absolutely breathtaking. We definitely recommend taking the extra time for this excellent tour! Thanks again Karthik!
