Create your Waiheke memories on our Vintage English Double Decker bus tour as you sample two of the Island's top wineries and take in the stunning scenery!

  • Chauffeured in Daisy, an authentic double decker bus from London
  • Wine Tasting at two renowned Island vineyards
  • Generous 4 tastings at each vineyard accompanied by stunning views

Waiheke Island is world renowned for its wine and beauty - and this tour has got to be one of the greatest ways to experience both!

Robbie your host and experienced tour guide for the day will meet you at the Ferry with Daisy, an authentic vintage double decker bus from London. You will be taken to our first stop of the tour, Cable Bay Vineyards and then on to the celebrated Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant. At both vineyards you'll indulge in a generous tasting of four of the most popular wines these top vineyards offer. These beautiful wines are perfectly matched by Waiheke’s stunning views!

You’ll have worked up a hunger by this point! There are plenty of wonderful places for lunch on Waiheke. We recommend Charlie Farleys by the beautiful white sands of Onetangi beach, but it's no problem to drop you at a different lunch spot along the way either! After which you will board Daisy one last time to head back to Matiatia for your return Ferry to Auckland. If you don't need to catch the ferry, we can drop you to Oneroa village or another vineyard on the way!

A WAIHEKE MUST DO

Robbie was an absolute hoot! Went on the Robbie’s fun bus on our stay in Waiheke and couldn’t recommend it to more people. It’s a must do if you’re over! The humour and thoughtfulness of the tour really shone through. Robbie is such a genuinely kind person and absolutely hilarious made the whole tour thoroughly enjoyable. He would go out of his way for people to make sure they’re having a good time even to the point that I left my phone behind before going on the bus and he helped me find it and dropped my friend and I back into town near our home! I’ll definitely be coming back with friends!

Different way to see Waiheke.

Great to see an old classic bus still on the road and carrying passengers. Enjoyed the view at cable bay. Bit disappointed 3 of 4 tastings at CB were from South Island not Waiheke. Mudbrick had a great hostess that explained the wines and where the grapes were originally from. Really nice wine from MB.

Didnt Happen

After making a booking we had no confirmation. Followed up with a direct phone call to the tour operator who said he would call back the following day. Didnt happen. Rang again 2 days before booking date and was told it would not be going ahead. Sorry but couldnt recommend.

Please consider other tour

He shouldn't have put us in when there are 2 group of big teams for a bridal shower. It was greedy decision to get as many people as possible on one day. We sat on one of the seat but had to move to the corner uptstair because he came to us and said "this floor is booked for other girls" but then also most of the seats were booked by other group of bridal shower. It was so noisy and it felt like we were in a party when we were not invited. Also we had to be patient enough to wait to drop off where the big group wanted to go. I have done some wine tour in waiheke and it had been always wonderful, however I learned that not all tours are amazing. I felt so sorry for booking this tour for my friends. The hygiene is also a problem in this tour. VERY DIRTY. I dont think it is an excuse to say because it's an old bus.
