You’ll have an absolute ball as you twist, slide and whizz your way down the fresh snowy slopes of our custom made tubing tracks.
With tube sizes for both adults and children, families can now enjoy the magic of snow tubing in a Winter Wonderland! Winter Wonderland is a safe, family-friendly Alpine Village in the snow dome where kids and adults can have fun on the snow away from skiers and snowboarders.
When you are not Tubing, take time out to explore the Alpine Village, make snow angels, throw snowballs, play hide & seek amongst the trees, toboggan, and of course, take great photos and selfies.
Just 30 minutes from Auckland, Snowplanet is New Zealand’s only indoor snow resort - bringing you the atmosphere and facilities of an alpine resort all year round.

Please Note:
Skis, snowboards, ski boots, clothing, lessons, gloves and F&B are not included in the price.
The snow is cold at a chilly -5C so you need to wrap up warm and wear appropriate clothing such as pants, jackets, beanies and gloves, all of which are available for hire or purchase at the resort, subject to availability.

From easily purchasing tickets online, to the prompt and helpful replies to my email enquiries (by Jamie) the night before, to the staff serving us on arrival and others helping us with rental gear, along with everyone out on the snow... they were all just amazing! Such great, helpful and friendly staff... service they way it should be! Complimented by a welcoming and fun atmosphere on the snow. We completely enjoyed taking our 3yo and 1yo kids to the Winter Wonderland (for their first time to the snow). Thanks guys!!! 🥰

Noone around
I took my 14-month daughter and myself (7-8 months pregnant at the time) to Winter Wonderland while her dad snow boarded. There was a sign saying you needed a wristband to enter but there was no one there to enforce it (which didn't really matter), but there was also no one there monitoring or helping in the childrens/family zone either. We had no idea where to get the tubes or tabogans from as this was not explained beforehand and had to sort of figure it all out ourselves. Then there was no escalator like with the lower zone for snowboarding, to use to take the gear up to the top so I had to drag the tabogan in one hand while pregnant and holding a toddler yet to walk in the other. Later on I noticed some kids using the lower level escalator ramp thing that the beginner level snowboarders/ski people used to get up to the tabogan zone by sneaking across and then walking the last part but I did not know if this was allowed or okay and we had finished by then anyway. Overall I can see this being a fun experience for older kids, but definitely not catered for young families and could do with workers nearby checking bands, and navigating such as where tabogans/tubes were and how to safely get up whether that is using the escalator or not.

Great family fun
We took our 6 and 8yr old to winter wonderland and had such a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went at 3pm on a weekday which meant it was nice and quiet, had the place to ourselves. Lots of fun using the toboggans and tubbing. Great value for money using the bookme deal.

Snow planet Winter wonderland fun
Excellent place to have fun with kids. My daughter whose 7 loved every minute of her winter wonderland experience. Highly recommended place for fun.
