Join us for the full Polynesian experience; take a guided tour around the Mangere Arts Centre and enjoy a day full of art and crafts before experiencing the Fiafia cultural show at SkyCity theatre followed by an incredible Polynesian buffet.
Upon arrival to the Arts Centre you’ll be presented with a Lei, a wreath of flowers that symbolises affection. You’ll then be led through a Powhiri – a Māori welcoming ceremony, before exploring the abundance of Polynesian crafts available to try. Learn how to dance with some fantastic traditional teachers, try our popular roasted cocoa bean drink along with lunch cooked from an umu – a traditional underground oven.
Engage in the local Island shopping before heading over to the SkyCity theatre in the heart of Auckland to become enthralled in an evening of dancing, music and art. The Fiafia cultural show captures the diverse history and traditions of Polynesian culture, curated from the collaboration of six Polynesian ethnic groups with over 100 performers taking part in the show.
Finish this fantastic evening off by enjoying live Pacific music while you tuck into an amazing Polynesian buffet. This is an experience not to be missed, an exciting and engaging package experience for all!
