A light-hearted and convivial singles event for those who like something a little different! Valentines Day - Monday 14th Feb 2022.

Highlights

  • A romantically themed scavenger hunt throughout the Museum
  • Partake in some speed dating the Birds and the Bees room
  • The entire Museum is open
  • A ‘free range’ event where you can get involved as little or as much as you would like

It’s Valentine’s Day and love is in the air - and the Museum’s popular singles event is back. Come along and find your summer romance.

There is no more special place than Auckland Museum to meet someone special.

The evening could start with drinks and nibbles at Tuitui, our new bar and bistro – or checking out one of Auckland’s top DJs, Jarom Hall, who’ll be spinning the decks.

Our legendary team of ‘icebreakers’ will be working the room; the bubbles will be flowing and the conversation will be too.

Are you an incurable romantic? Then consult with our resident ‘Love Doctor’. Fancy a bit on the side? Then enjoy all the fun activities and events dotted throughout the Museum.

Visit ‘The Birds and the Bees Room’ where hosts will pair you up and you’ll have 5 minutes to get to know each other - with fun challenges to complete while you chat. You can also participate in the hit Blind Date game show, pre-register to be a contestant when you book your ticket (don’t worry - you can always opt-out, and there are spot prizes for audience members too!).
