Enjoy wine tasting at Ransom Wines, winners of the 'outstanding winery experience' award and home to contemporary New Zealand winery architecture, and captivating views of the vineyard and the wider vista.
Savor lunch and wine at Plume Vineyard Restaurant, who are passionate about fabulous local New Zealand wine and produce with glorious 180-degree views of vineyards, fields, valleys and mountains.
A visit to the award winning Chocolate Brown factory, chocolaterie and cafeteria. With mouth watering and visually stunning chocolate you won't be able to resist!
Wine tasting at either Omaha Bay Wines or Mahurangi River Wines. Omaha Bay is a family owned boutique vineyard and winery, overlooking the bay and the stunning Little Barrier Island. Mahurangi River Wines enjoys a rustic setting high on a hill looking out across a beautiful vista.
New Zealand Honey Centre - Nestled in lush green countryside, sample the delicious native flora honeys found at the honey centre which also boasts NZ's largest display of live bees. A large selection of honey related products are also available.
On the return journey there's the opportunity to marvel at a rare 850 year old kauri tree, one of the world's mightiest trees which can grow to 50 metres tall set amongst native forest and giant tree ferns.
