This tour is aimed to sweep you up from your local accomodation and take you (via a great coffee spot) to Scotts Landing where by you will be welcomed onto the 'Shuckleferry'. This is NZ's only Oyster boat tour, run by local legend Phil Morris. Bubbles and oysters you say? Why not.On this boat, Phil will teach you to shuck oysters, as well as understand the history and operational processes of the area and it's Oyster farms.
Next up is a visit to a local winery, into the heart of this regions boutique viticultural smorgasbord! Tastings and shared antipasto lunch platters are enjoyed while looking out across the vineyard.
We finish on a sweet note at an award winning Chocolate shop right in the heart of the Matakana Village. Stay and learn about art form which is that of chocolate, or take your sweets and roam the river edge or be tempted by some retail therapy including home wares, shoes or fashion!
