Just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, we take you to Kumeu wine country which is Auckland's heritage wine region for a splendid afternoon tasting some of the regions finest wines.
Our first destination is Soljans Vineyard, award-winning winemakers known for their expertise in methode traditionelle (bottle-fermented) sparkling wines. Here you will enjoy lunch at their restaurant where they serve delicious Mediterranean inspired, contemporary cuisine.
Next, we will head to Coopers Creek vineyard for a tasting session of their eclectic range of wines from New Zealand's best regions.
Stopping for a scenic break at Muriwai Beach you are treated to the stunning views overlooking the coastline and the Tasman Sea. In the months of August to April, you will also get the chance to see one of the few mainland Gannet nesting sites. Here you will get close up views of these giant sea birds in their natural habitat.
The final wine tasting will take place at West Brook Winery with its beautiful duck pond, terraced picnic area and rows of vines this is the perfect way to end an enjoyable afternoon. This boutique winery produces award-winning wines including outstanding Chardonnays and Rieslings.

Great chance to try wines from our back yard
A lovely day out with friends. Have got some new favourite wine to drink thanks to the knowledgeable owners and staff and had plenty of time to enjoy lunch. The Muriwai gannet colony was beautiful and our hot Alex organised the timing to make our trip work smoothly. Would recommend this trip to Aucklanders and those from further afield.

fantastic tour guide who really knows his stuff. had a lot of fun and enjoyed supporting local businesses. would definitely recommend to anyone even if wine isn’t really your thing
