Itinerary
- Auckland - Your tour starts in New Zealand’s largest city. As we drive out of the city your guide will not only set the scene for your adventure today but also point out and guide you past some of the city’s top highlights.
- Waikato – We travel south through the stunning Waikato countryside, encountering beautiful scenery, mighty rivers, great photo opportunities, impressive mountains and several farm animals along the way. We will also stop for a quick coffee break at a special location.
- Hobbiton Movie Set - Here you begin your two hour tour of this 12 acre movie set. A professional Hobbiton guide ensures you get the most out of your visit. Visit the lush pastures of the Shire, hobbit holes and amazing gardens, and enjoy a complimentary cold beverage at ‘The Green Dragon Inn’.
- Tirau – Famously dubbed the 'Corrugated Iron Capital of the World' because of the many unique corrugated iron sculptures and buildings. This town never fails to get a laugh and our guides will point out all the main highlights on the way through.
- Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland – Experience a fully guided tour of Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland, considered one of the most surreal places on earth. See the famous Champagne Lake, Devil's Bath, local mud-pools and geothermal craters and activity. The colours will take your breath away.
- Rotorua City Highlights – Next is a guided driving tour seeing the most famous sites in Rotorua city including: Lake Rotorua, Rotorua Museum, Government Gardens, Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring) & the Blue Baths.

Great services and nice friendly tour guide
It was fantastic experience with cheeky tours travel. At first there was miscommunication but they sorted out very well and quickly. We're guided and driven by nice friendly person, Nick who did his great job. Well done, highly recommended have a tour with them. Thanks.

Fun and beautiful
The hobbiton experience is so fun. Simon, our guide, gave us the best experience at Wai-O-Tapu. We get to see the such colorful volcanic pools.

Journée magnifique
Une journée parfaite commencée par la visite de Hobbiton et suivie par la visite de Wai O tapu. Nous avons eu la chance d'être accompagné de deux guides (Dan et Greg) qui ont été aux petits soins avec nous.Toujours prêt a repondre aux questions et dont les connaissances sur la Nouvelle-Zélande et ses traditions sont un plaisir et une réelle decouverte pour nous. Merci encore pour cette superbe journée .
