Let us take the hassle out of driving so you can sit back, relax and take in the views as we transport you from Auckland or Rotorua to Middle-earth!
Forget the early morning pick up - we let you have the morning to yourself before collecting you at the respectable time of 11 am from your Auckland accommodation.
Our fleet of Mercedes vehicles are comfortable and clean and can transport between 6-15 passengers for an enjoyable small-group experience.
Travelling along the scenic route from Auckland to Matamata we arrive at the Hobbiton movie set in time for you to purchase some lunch from the Shires Rest café if you wish.
You will then be taken on a guided tour over the 12-acre movie set as seen in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. You will visit hobbit holes, the Mill, Bag-End - home to Bilbo Baggins and finish off with a complimentary drink at the famous Green Dragon Inn.
Once your tour is complete we will transport you back to your Auckland accommodation around 6 or 7 pm depending on the traffic.

Great organisation, kind and helpful staffi and nice place. For Lord of the Rings and Hobbit fans, this is a must-see. The company Flexitour is really flexible. I bought the trip from Auckland but my plan was changed and I could go there by car and only back use the transport. I appreciated. Thank you.

Great tour in Hobbiton. Driver was texting on his phone while driving a lot, which is illegal, or would have rated 5.
