Known as the jewel of the Bay of Islands, Paihia is a popular beach town home to stunning golden beaches and boutique style shopping. You’ll have the opportunity to discover the delights of Paihia before your three-hour afternoon cruise into the waters of the sub-tropical Bay of Islands.

Soak up the stunning scenery, including turquoise waters and secluded bays, as you cruise from Paihia through some 144 islands; see the remote Cape Brett lighthouse before journeying to the famous Hole in the Rock at Motukokako Island. For an unforgettable Hole in the Rock experience, your skipper might even drive through (weather/ocean conditions permitting).

The region attracts an abundance of wildlife, including dolphins, whales, and penguins. Enjoy learning about the natural landscape and history of the area on both land and sea, with commentary from your coach and boat drivers.

After your Bay of Islands cruise, it’s time to return to Paihia wharf where you’ll climb aboard your coach for the return journey to Auckland.
