Auckland Wine Shuttle - The easy way to visit Vineyards

Walk amongst the vines and taste the wine from Auckland’s largest and most technologically advanced wine making facility. The facility's state of the art bottling line can process an incredible 12,500 bottles per hour. The Auckland Ihumatau Vineyard produces award winning Chardonnay, Albãrino and Gewürtztraminer.
You’ll see several fascinating video presentations on the techniques and processes used in the tasting room. The video presentation gives an excellent overview on the various aspects of their operation from Viticulture to Vinification, blending and bottling. Choose your tasting selection from Private Bin Wines, Cellar Selection or Premium reserve and Single Vineyard tastings - these range between $10pp - $25pp.
In the afternoon we visit Soljans estate established in 1937. Soljans produce estate Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinotage.
The Hawkes Bay vineyards supply Syrah, Cabernet and Malbec. Marlborough provides Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Gewurtztamner, while Gisborne provide the fruit for their popular sparkling Muscat. The Tawny Port is always on tasting - Tasting Fees $10pp.
Coopers Creek and West Brook have a wide range of award winning wines, including some lesser known varietals like Arneis and Montepulciano - Tasting Fees $10pp.
The Hunting Lodge is a great place to chill, taste some wine or order a wood fired Pizza. Four of their wines are served in a wooden tasting paddle - Tasting Fees $15pp.
You can be delivered with your luggage to Auckland Domestic or International Airport at the conclusion of the tour for an additional NZ$50 per booking.
This tour is the perfect way to visit a selection of four of Auckland’s best vineyards, only pay tasting fees at the venues you want with most wineries also selling beer and food so you can eat as you go!

Perfect insight to New Zealand wines
Hi. This was simply a great tour from John and Barbara. We have done a number of NZ wine tours and there insight to the history of New Zealand wines made this the very best! The format is also excellent - you can pick your own wine choices if you prefer over the vineyards choices, and four great venues mean those choices are extensive. You will genuinely not be disappointed, and certainly pleasantly educated!

The best Wine Tour you could ever experience!!
Wow, the wine tour my friends and I was so much fun, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a day out exploring and tasting some fabulous local wines. John our guide was an absolute champion and so much FUN!!! He genuinely made the trip amazing, he was so thoughtful, accommodating and most of all a fun vibe!! If you want to do a wine tour, I strongly recommend this!! Thank you so much John!!!
