We will conveniently pick you up from your Auckland accommodation and then set off on a scenic journey to Waitomo, encountering small rural townships and rolling farmland of the Waikato region along the way.
We will stop at Rangiriri Heritage sight, where the decisive battle for Waikato was fought in 1863 between British forces and Maori warriors.
Upon arrival at the glowworm caves, you’ll embark upon a tour that’s an absolute must do for kiwi’s and visistors alike.
Take a 45 minute guided boat tour through the dazzling Glowworm Grotto and be amazed at the thousands of tiny glowworms that glisten all around you.
After the tour, you’ll have time to see the visitor centre or take a lunch break in the cafe' (Own expense).
A fantastic and fun way to get from Auckland to Rotorua, experiencing magical Waitomo along the way!
