Never disappointed

Came here about 8 years ago on a date with my now husband and the food was fantastic back then, good verity on the menu, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Was back again recently with husband and 4yold. Was not disappointed. Food was as amazing as I remembered, I ordered the steak, which was cook perfectly. They cater for the kids too. Family friendly or a great place for date night.

First time and likely to be the last. Very average food and long wait times. Mocktails were really bad. The chowder was the best of everything we ordered that also included the duck (tiny meal), lamb ( chewy and tasteless), pork belly, burger, veal, risotto (swimming in oil) and calamari ( straight from the freezer). Very pricey menu and glad to have the 30% discount. Was not worth full price.

Disappointed

Average food, not what it used to be under previous owners who won the awards. Service not particularly sensitive or tactful raising an issue in front of everyone at our table. Felt rushed to leave as wanting to close to prepare for a function the following day.
